The Facebook young CEO, Mark Zuckerberg pokes his way into politics. Hehas got together with a group of other top Silicon Valley executives to create an issues-based political action committee focusing – for the moment, at least – on liberalising the US visa and immigration systems.
Their goal: to attract and better develop “a workforce of highly skilled immigrants.”
Others say that if the goal of the tech leaders is to get bipartisan
support, they’ve got to get respected strategists who can persuade
conservative GOPers on Capitol Hill to “like” their ideas.
